Golf Company, 6-101st Aviation Regiment "Varsity" and Bravo Battery, 3-320th Field Artillery "Red Knights" conduct an artillery raid during Operation Lethal Eagle III on August 10, 2023, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The units Air Assaulted four M119 Howitzer cannons during the hours of limited visibility. Bravo Battery executed firing missions then exfiltrated the objective with haste! Our ability to emplace warfighter through vertical envelopment is unmatched. This is why we're the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault! Operation Lethal Eagle III is a pre-planned training exercise to build Soldier and unit lethality within the world’s premiere air assault division. The exercise is a 21-day training event in dispersed locations across Tennessee and Kentucky designed to build and sustain readiness across multiple warfighting functions.
