Command Sgt. Maj. David Astorga, senior enlisted advisor of 385th Military Police Battalion, and three of the battalion’s inductees: Sgt. Alexandra Zastrow, Sgt. Hassan Brown, and Sgt. Xavier Melendez Collazo, explain the importance of the Corps of Noncommissioned Officer and give advice after an NCO induction ceremony on Fort Stewart, Georgia, March 31, 2023. The inductees also explained how they feel about becoming NCOs and what they will do next. During the ceremony, the inductees learned about their roles as NCOs from other senior NCOs in their organization, and the inductees accepted their role by walking under an arch and reciting the Charge of the Noncommissioned Officer.
