XVIII Airborne Corps Public Affairs
March 4, 2023 | 0:53
The Military Working Dog Handler Competition tests the medical abilities of handlers during Tactical Combat Casualty Care lanes on Fort Bragg, N.C., Mar. 2, 2023. Interoperability between the branches of the U.S. military is essential for the success of the Military Working Dog (MWD) program. The U.S. Air Force is charged with the responsibility of procuring, training, and assigning the dogs, while the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps is responsible for providing the necessary medical care and ensuring the overall health of the animals. By supporting one another, the branches can work together to ensure that the MWD program is successful in fulfilling its mission. (U.S. Army Video by Spc. Jacob Bradford)
