Army Engineers Breach Obstacles
1-2 SBCT, 7th Infantry Division
Jan. 7, 2019 | 1:10
Soldiers of 23rd Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, went through their platoon certification exercise at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Nov. 13-18, 2018. We follow the sapper platoons breaching obstacles during their live fire portion of the exercise.
Each platoon’s role was certified according to their mission: extended dig missions for mobility support platoons; the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Reconnaissance platoon performed three chemical missions; and the medical section did a series of casualty and medical evacuation scenarios consisting of ambulance exchange and mass casualty events.
