Heather Gandy, a combat medic assigned to 5-7 Cavalry Squadron, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, shares her family's rich military history at Camp Reedo, Estonia, on January 15, 2025. Stories like Gandy reflects on the rich history and legacy of service, sacrifice and dedication of the U.S. Army. Gandy is currently forward deployed to eastern Europe and is participating to develop V Corps warfighting capabilities alongside NATO’s national and multinational corps and division forces.
