Modernization
7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment
July 8, 2021 | 2:14
Fort Hood launched the Army's first Modernization Displacement and Repair Site in late November 2020, operated by the 407th Army Field Support Battalion-Hood. The success of the program led the Army Materiel Command to stand up 13 additional sites across Army installations. It provides Soldiers a one-stop shop turning in excess/damaged equipment and removing it off a commanders hand receipt.
