FORT BRAGG, N.C. - For recognition of their work in a Joint Operational Access Exercise, the Second Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division awarded Canadian paratroopers the Parachutist Badge of the United States Army.

Soldiers of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment were recognized for their hard work in the Joint Operational Access Exercise hosted by the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.

Paratroopers who jumped into the operation were awarded the United States Army Parachutist Badge while others were recognized at the "Heroes of the Battlefield" and presented a brigade coin by the 2nd BCT commander, Col. Patrick Hynes. Canadian Cpl. Ashley Barker, a field medic, was also recognized for helping to treat American paratroopers on the drop-zone. Available in high definition.
