101st ABD Soldiers fly to support Hurricane Helene effort

Soldiers from 1-502, 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) fly in a MH-47 "Chinook" Army helicopter with support from 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment from Ft. Campbell, KY on October 6, 2024 to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts. More than 1,100 Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) are departing Fort Campbell to assist in Hurricane Helene response efforts led by the North Carolina National Guard and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
