First Army helps mark World War I anniversary
First Army
April 10, 2017 | 1:43
April 6, 2017 marked the 100th anniversary of the United States entering into World War I. To honor our soldier forefathers, First Army soldiers participated in a World War I commemoration ceremony at Rock Island National Cemetery. It is a reminder that First Army's own 100th anniversary will occur in 1918, marking a century since Gen. John Pershing commanded the unit in France.
