The 192d Ordnance Battalion (EOD) conducted their Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team of the Year, and Warrior of the Year competition at Fort Bragg, North Carolina from Feb. 27 to March 3.

The weeklong competition is designed to test the competitors both mentally and physically. Four teams of three soldiers will compete against each other and hone their specialized skill sets during fast-paced, lifelike situational events including vehicle-based improvised explosive devices, person-borne improvised explosive device, chemical and multiple ordnance scenarios, and soldier tasks including an Army Physical Fitness Test and weapons qualification.

Each EOD team is comprised of three members, a team leader and two team members.

The 192d Ordnance Battalion (EOD) is geographically separated at four locations across the eastern half of the United States.
