Black Lions Conduct Ambush Training in Japan

U.S. Army Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment "Black Lions," 3rd Infantry Division, conducted ambush training on Camp Fuji, Japan, June 17, 2021. This training was designed to teach Soldiers how to properly conduct an ambush and will help the Black Lions Soldiers as they prepare to take part in exercise Orient Shield 21-2 later this month. Orient Shield is the largest U.S. Army and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force bilateral field training exercise being executed in various locations throughout Japan to enhance interoperability and test and refine multi-domain and cross-domain operations.
