First Lt. Thomas Di Tomasso, a platoon leader assigned to 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, has overseen six weeks of training, where he saw just how innovative the Malawian Defense Force is. Capt. Graham Rowan, HHC Company Commander assigned to 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, admires their ability to be creative and feels it will help in their upcoming peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
