Adverse mental health issues can affect anyone regardless of age, gender or background. Veterans, who experience more suicides than other Americans, are especially susceptible to the risks of mental health related issues gone unchecked.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month — a time to continue and raise awareness of an issues that is too often hindered because of stigmatizations. The Big Red One hopes use this month to continue to spread hope and share vital information to people affected by suicide.
