Remaining Army medic candidates from the 44th Medical Brigade, stationed from eight different geographical locations, participated in the Combat Testing Lane 2 portion of the Expert Field Medical Badge skills competition Oct. 28, 2019, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Candidates returned simulated fire on enemy forces while attempting to reach casualties. Once safe ground was reached, the Army medics accessed, treated and transported casualties to established safe zones for transportation.
