The Hunter Army Airfield Consolidated Dining Facility team earned the nomination to represent the 406th Army Field Support Brigade for the 53rd Department of the Army Annual Philip A. Connelly Competition.
U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Alechia Riley, the dining facility manager, describes the feeling of leading a team of outstanding food service professionals, while Sgt. Maj. Lemakius Gardner, the 3rd Infantry Division’s chief culinary manager, remembers her personal experience as a Connelly-winning dining facility manager that now mentors a team achieving success in the Army culinary profession.
