Members of the 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade receive their initial fielding of the new Echo Model Apache, replacing the previous generation's Delta Apache helicopter, on Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 14, 2019. The AH-64E Apache helicopter was designed to increase power margins, reliability and lethality to ensure the Apache is a viable combat fighting force in large scale combat operations.
