46th Aviation Support Battalion was announced the Department of the Army Runner Up of the Supply Excellence Award 2017. 46th ASB plays a vital role in providing support for the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade. They also help other units within 7th Infantry Division as an excellent team of logisticians.
46th ASB's role directly support 16th Combat Aviation Brigade as a deploy-ready brigade. "I think we forget that the logisticians are the unsung heroes of the battle," Lt. Col. Shoshannah Lane, 46th ASB Commader.
