Families of 3-38th Cav Soldiers participate in a 'Spur Ride', a cavalry tradition, to earn their silver spurs and join the ranks of the Order of the Spur on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Lead: Earning your spurs is a tradition as old as the cavalry itself and the spur ride is a rite of passage for U.S. cavalry soldiers. Sgt.
