When situations, such as weather or other disruption, prevent significant numbers of employees at Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem from reporting for work on time or require the installations to close all or part of their activities, members of the U.S. Army Garrison Public Affairs Office will provide announcements to the local media and, if necessary, through internal communications outlets.  When situations affect one installation but not the other, information will be clearly announced indicating which employees are affected.
